PuffBunny House Concert Series

Saturday, April 7th @ 7pm

George Ensle

George Ensle, veteran Texas singer-songwriter, who has shared stages with legendary greats Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, Jerry Jeff Walker, and Billie Joe Shaver, will kick off our 2012 House Concert Series!  He’s taken home songwriting awards from The American Song Festival, Kerrville Folk Festival, the Music Umbrella, and the Austin Songwriters Group.  George was nominated for Singer/Songwriter of the year by the Texas Music Academy in 2008 and has had songs recorded by Gary P. Nunn, Bob Cheevers, Will T. Massey, Jeff Talmadge and others.  Some call him a “songpainter, ” capturing “lifescapes”, with storysong portraits of real folks making it in the real world.  Mark your calendar!!

Richy Rhyne

Richy Rhyne is our guest host for April 7th! Originally from Eldorado, KS, Richy now makes his home in the hill country and his December CD release of 12 original songs titled “On My Own”, has been nominated for the Texas Music Academy’s “Award of Distinction.” The album is Richy and his guitar, and most cuts were one take. He told Phil Houseal, “I wanted a good, clean recording to give to people and say, this is what I sound like.” You’ll be able to hear what he sounds like up close on April 7th!
